The 9 Most Unanswered Questions about Tshirt Printing
There are many things which you would like to get in the market but you would feel better to keep some of them if they are customized. Some of them are t-shirts which you like to share to other people. Since you just encounter them at the shopping center, you do not have enough reason why you need to get them. But, if one person who is special to you finds time to buy any of the items but provide some customized imprints there, then, it will be a different story.
It makes a lot of sense for you to think about getting some custom imprint services if you want to offer the people dear to you a simple item yet personalized. Your friend who is celebrating his birthday would desire to get a gift that is something unique so giving him a key with an imprint of his favorite sport is worth keeping for him. He will be so blessed to have you as a friend and would also do the same if you will be celebrating your natal day. You may also like to think about holding a family reunion but you have to be keen about the items you would desire to offer to others so think of getting a set of shirts. Find a company out there that would do a custom imprint to the shirts to highlight your clan name.
Thsirt Printing 101: When Do You Flash Cure?
Never – if you can help it! The flash-cure unit has become the Band-Aid of the industry. People let the flash-cure unit make them a good printer by covering up thick ink, poor artwork overlays, too many strokes, etc. Almost anyone can get a good print by curing between each color – but with production rates in the low 30′s (I mean 30 prints per hour) you will find this a hard business to make any money in. By simply using the correct mesh, right ink viscosity, good artwork and not too many strokes, you could print the same job wet-on-wet. Granted, there are many jobs where you have to flash-cure. Just don't let it be every job.
If you want to hold a class reunion, then, you may also do the same. Just ask your classmates what they want to get after the reunion so you can easily buy a bulk and send them to a printing company to customize them. It is essential to find a printing company which offers custom imprint services. However, there are some important things which you need to take a look at before you would decide to pick the right one.
Thsirt Printing 101: Coating The Screen With Emulsion
Now the screen is ready to coat with emulsion. Emulsion is a light sensitive liquid chemical that is applied to the screen; it becomes most light sensitive when dry. For this step the best tool is a scoop coater even if you are the home printer. This is a tool devised to be used by hand that resembles a trough the width of the screen with a rounded smooth edge or "blade" on one side. Typically a scoop coater for a 20 X 24 screen is about 14 inches wide so that you may coat a screen length wise with one pass from bottom to top. It will give you the most consistent, smooth coat and provide even thickness in the emulsion as well. The thickness of your stencil is directly related to the amount of ink that will be deposited onto the shirt. The thicker the emulsion is, the deeper the stencil is and more room the ink will have to be deposited onto the shirt. This gives better "opacity" or "coverage".
It makes a lot of sense for you to think about getting not only limited services so you have to find a flexible printing company. It means that the company should not only think about printing on shirts but also on other materials worth as souvenirs. It will give you an advantage as you never have to look for other printing venues just to let other materials custom-printed.
Another factor is the price. But, you will never think negative when you are given the right price for a bulk of items you wish to be custom printed.
You also need to assess the quality of work. Hence, if you do not want a waste job, then, you should see samples of their work.
