The Tshirt Printing world today has changed in more ways than just one. Societal impact and image have become part and parcel of doing business. What was the in thing yesterday is old fashioned today and customizing apparels has become not only a necessity but also ideal. We are therefore going to look at the reasons as to why this is actually necessary and what impact it has on the business.
Nothing sells out the company's brand better than customized business apparels and this is the first reason that necessitates customization of business apparels. It is like a mirror that reflects you as a business to the world. It affects how your customers will relate to your business. Well customized apparels that perfectly embody your brand is a very efficient marketing tool that should not be overlooked. The employees also get to have a sense of entitlement for being the company's ambassadors.
Thsirt Printing 101: How To Hold and Move the Squeegee
How Many Strokes Do You Do?
Does it take three strokes in both directions to "work" the ink in to the garment? I'd like to see the print! You really don't have to work the ink into the garment. Just print the shirt with ONE – or maybe two strokes. If you must use two strokes for better coverage DO THEM IN THE SAME DIRECTION! If you have to do two or three strokes then maybe your ink is too thick and it is not flowing good through the screen. Try thinning it down a little and see what happens.
Credibility of the company becomes more real in the face of potential customers when they encounter company employees donned in well designed company attires. Potential customers often feel that a company is somewhat real when they are served by company employees wearing similar apparels with the company's logo artistically printed on them. If it is attractive chances are that they are the first thing that catches the eye of the potential customers. it therefore serves as a way of promoting your organization. They are likened to dozens of walking billboards out there selling your brand.
Thsirt Printing 101: Going To Press
In order to mount the screen in the print head with ease you can draw cross hairs on your pallet. If your pallet is somewhat clean and the cross hair lines are dark, you will be able to see them through most emulsions before they are inked up. After the screen has been inked up and used a bit, it may be difficult to see your cross hairs on the pallet. Take the time to line up your screen properly before you ink it up.
For multi color prints go from the most amount of information and the darkest color first to the lightest color with the least amount of design on the screen. I draw a cross hair on my master pallet and line up my black printer to that first. I always line up my black printer first, the one with the most information, then line all other colors up to that. Take some time to do this before inking up so you can get it as close as possible.
It is also a great way to kick start a dialogue with a total stranger. When people get attracted to your attire, they are bound to ask questions what the logo means or what the company does. This gives you the chance to be able to explain to them the nature of your business and how to acquire your goods or services. A loyal customer will also enrich you with knowledge on the business performance.
Thsirt Printing 101: Curing Ink On Printed Shirts
Remove your shirt from the press and run through a tee shirt belt oven making sure it reaches optimum temperature by the time it emerges from the exit point and falls into a catch box.
Under cured ink can wash out and over cured ink can prematurely flake off and crack. For about $30 to $40 you can buy a temp gun with a laser sight. Point the laser sight at the ink on the shirt as it is still 4 to 6 inches still inside the oven chamber and take a reading. It should have reached your optimum temperature for your brand of ink, typically between 320 to 340 degrees Fahrenheit. Check with your ink vendor on this
The apparels also serve as uniforms for example in the case of a supermarket. This is because they make it easy for a potential customers to seek help from an employee without confusing them with fellow customers. Good service delivery is therefore optimized.
The employees get to have a sense of togetherness every time they wear the attire. This is because it makes them feel that they are one since they represent similar brand. They become like one family and easily relate with each other in or outside the business premises. In addition, their overall performance in increased.
