Gary, it's you is not listening. Here is a verse that shows
that God is in control of who converts and who doesn't. And
you cite it as somehow supporting free-will doctrine. Yes,
God convinces us of the truth. In no way does that imply that
we have some sort of free will to choose to be convinced.
In fact, it's obviously just the opposite. If God convinces
you of the truth, then you have NO choice but to believe it:
you've been _convinced_.
